Our lab is seeking a motivated, engaged graduate student who can contribute to applied school-based research to support teachers' delivery of student behavior interventions. We are looking to hire one additional graduate research assistant for the 2024-2025 academic year, with the position starting in August 2024 and continuing through June 2025. Skills/Experience
- Foundational data collection (e.g., systematic direct observation) and data entry skills (specific training in our methods will be provided).
- Foundational consultation skills; collaborative and professional with educators and colleagues.
- Proficient in conducting literature reviews and use of Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Google Drive.
Work & Interpersonal Skills
- Prepared, responsible, and hard working.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Communicates clearly, demonstrates openness and responsiveness to feedback, and seeks support proactively.
- Engages with cultural humility, sense of inclusion and equity.
Availability
- Able to start in August 2024 and continue through the 2024-25 public school academic year (i.e., through end of June) with opportunity to continue during future years pending fit/performance.
- Available to be present in-person in schools for research activities throughout the fall and spring semesters.
- Available during UConn spring break and through June for in-person school activities as needed.
