The Mansfield Downtown Partnership is a nonprofit that involves representatives from both UConn and Mansfield. We work with Mansfield businesses, tenants, property owners, UConn students, and the local Mansfield community to promote the development of the downtown area through coordinated efforts and local events. As a member of the Board of Directors, meetings are monthly, in addition to a monthly committee/ working group of choice that each person takes part in. Our largest event is the Celebrate Mansfield Festival every September. This is a great opportunity open to students of all majors, and working at the local level will provide valuable experience.
UConn students can apply to fill this position as a UConn Student Representative, which will begin in Fall 2024.
