Ramadan began the night of Sunday, March 10, 2024 and will run until April 9, 2024. The UConn Muslim Union has created an informational video about Ramadan and would like to share it with colleagues to raise awareness of the holy month.

Beginning March 10th all students with a residential meal plan observing Ramadan will have access to a hot dinner buffet along with a variety of breakfast items.

Ramadan ends with a holiday, Eid al-Fitr, starting on the evening of the 9th (lasting 1-3 days). ODI and the Provosts Office are working in collaboration to support the Muslim student community with an Eid celebration on April 17, 2024. This will be a time for Muslim students to come together to enjoy the holiday. More information about this event will be available soon.
