  • Soci 2275 Online Social Well-Being Summer Course

    Summer Session II (Online)

    SOCI 2275--Applies to the 45-credit rule. Counts toward the Soci major and minor. A related class for many majors. ONLINE! No Scheduled Meetings, Asynchronous.

    Learn how to maximize your own well-being in your social world.

    This course explores how people experience well-being, and how it is affected by their social context. Topics include: Goals, habits, self-control, gratitude, altruism, social media, employment, money, health, and finding life purpose.

    Content is both theoretical (learn about theories of well-being) and applied (examine them using your own experiences).

    Students gain rich insight into the interplay between personal and social factors in the creation of well-being.
