About Math Motivators: Math Motivators is a free tutoring program that closes the achievement gap by pairing underserved students in grades 3-12 with professionals and college students with strong mathematics backgrounds. Our mission strongly aligns with The Actuarial Foundation's goal to enhance math education and financial literacy. We are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, with approximately 75% of participating students being eligible for free or reduced-price school lunch, and 70% identifying as Black, African American, Latino/Latina, or of Spanish origin.
Why Join Us: As a member of the Math Motivators Executive Board, you will have the opportunity to connect UConn students with the mission of Math Motivators to close the achievement gap in Connecticut within mathematics and positively impact the lives of students in our community.
