  • UConn Google Workspace Update: Shared Drives

    Beginning Monday, March 18th, you will no longer be able to create new shared drives in UConn Google Workspace environment. ITS is making this change so we can ensure that files in shared drives are migrated before accounts are closed.

    You will be able to access and use shared drives created before March 18th and share files with internal and external users. You will also still be able to create and share new personal folders within your Google Drive; only adding new shared drives to our Google environment will be disabled.

    If you need to create a new shared location for team files, you may set up a SharePoint site.
