UConn Health Leaders (UCHL) is a volunteer program screening patients for the social determinants of health in our outpatient clinics at UConn Health. We are going to begin accepting applications for the Summer 2024 session of our program on Sunday, March 3rd at 8:00 p.m. and would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word about this opportunity. The application will close on Monday, April 1st at 11:59 p.m.
The program will run from June 3rd to August 9th, with a mandatory training day on June 1st. Volunteers will be required to complete at least 40 hours, however, there is no set schedule during the summer so they will be able to sign up for shifts based on their own availability. Volunteer shifts are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at our clinic sites in Farmington and Hartford. There will also be three monthly meetings that will take place during the Summer 2024 session; the dates and times of these meetings will be announced soon.
