  • Live at Spring Valley Student Farm Fall 2024

    • Are you looking for meaningful opportunities to practice sustainability at UConn?
    • Would you like to live in a vibrant and caring community?
    • Do you enjoy work that allows you to learn hands-on and spend time outdoors?

Then UConn's Spring Valley Student Farm is the place for you!

Spring Valley Student Farm (SVSF), located 4.5 miles off the Storrs campus, is now accepting applications for Fall 2024 reduced-cost student housing. Student farmers live in community, learn sustainable agricultural techniques, and grow produce for Dining Services! Positions are open to full-time UConn undergraduate students of all majors. Acceptance is contingent upon housing offer from Residential Life.

Housing: Residents at SVSF contribute 10 hours of farm work each week in exchange for a reduced housing cost. Applications are due February 9th—apply ASAP! Learn more and submit your application here.

Join us for ice cream! We are hosting an informal info session to learn more about opportunities at the farm, including summer and fall housing and employment, on Thursday, February 1 from 7-8pm in the Werth Forum on the first floor of the Werth Residence Tower. We hope to see you there! Please RSVP here: https://partiful.com/e/USVBOGe6cjawBi5r7npq.
