The Daily Campus is hiring a Social Media and Outreach Coordinator (and/or Associate).
Job description:
The DC has a Social Media and Outreach Coordinator and an Associate Social Media and Outreach Coordinator. The difference between these two roles is that the SMOC works 3 days a week, and the ASMOC works 2 days a week.
Coordinate with the other Social Media and Outreach Coordinator to manage the daily operation of all The Daily Campus’ social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). This includes scheduling/posting stories and creating graphics for these stories via Canva
Update these platforms throughout the day with changes/breaking news.
Develop and enact engaging strategies to interact with our readers. This may include organizing and running giveaways, promotional projects, or tabling events.
Attend weekly editors’ meetings at 9 p.m. on Sundays and biweekly conferences with The Daily Campus executives.
