The Summer Undergraduate Research Fund (SURF) Award program provides thousands of dollars in support of undergraduate students' summer research or creative projects. SURF is open to undergraduate students in all majors at all campuses who plan to graduate no earlier than December 2024. Students can apply for funding of up to $4,500.
A virtual SURF Information session will be held on Tuesday, January 9th from 1-2 pm. Further log-in and workshop information can be found here.
We also offer virtual SURF office hours, which you can sign up for through Nexus. Students seeking feedback on draft materials should email the materials to the appropriate staff person at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment.
