Want to learn about community health equity through hands-on experience?
In partnership with Hartford Healthcare’s
Neighborhood Health program, a student team will be identifying issues that impact healthcare accessibility, while ideating and implementing solutions created in real-time across Connecticut and executing solutions. A multi-semester experiential learning course, students are expected to complete a 2-credit course in the spring semester, followed by a 10-week, full-time paid internship.
Participation is open to any major, school/college, and class level.
As part of the 2024 cohort, students are expected to be available for both the Spring and Summer portions.
The application (
linked here) will collect information about you and your passions in the space, and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
