What is Ignite?
Ignite was launched in 2013 on the Storrs campus to provide student groups with an easy-to use platform to help raise money for UConn-related programs and activities that they care about. Ignite is a unique opportunity to share your UConn organization cause with hundreds of potential donors.
Why Ignite?
Groups not only can raise money for what is important to them but, can participate in a variety of challenges to earn a portion of $20,000 in prize money.
Who can participate in Ignite?
Any Registered Student Organization (RSO) in good condition and are open to all students. Funds raised must be used to benefit existing University of Connecticut students, staff, and programs. Groups cannot raise money to donate or provide support to other non-profit organizations or businesses. Funds must be raised and used to benefit the group activities.
