Volunteer Opportunities

  • Seeking Menstrual Product Donations

The Program in Applied Public Health Sciences is asking for donations of menstrual products that will go to students in the Hartford Public School System (HPS). The Hartford Health Education program, an initiative started and run by UConn medical and dental students, involves student volunteers who teach a range of health topics including nutrition, sexual health, positive relationships, mental health, and more to HPS students. To support their work and HPS students, the Program in Applied Public Health Sciences is soliciting donations for menstruating youth. Specifically, HHE is accepting pads and tampons of any size/type/brand.

Donations can be sent via inter-office mail to (263 Farmington Avenue, MC 6325, Farmington, CT 06030-6325), we can arrange to pick them up from your office, OR supplies can be dropped off at 195 Farmington Avenue, Suite 2100, Farmington CT 06032.
