  • Native American Cultural Preservation Alt Break

Alternative Breaks are service-learning experiences supporting alongside the community to seek a more equitable and inclusive society. Alternative Breaks trips are designed to heighten participants’ awareness of critical social issues, enhance their individual growth, and prepare them for lifelong social action.

Apply now for the Native American Cultural Preservation Alternative Break trip, taking place from March 10-16, 2024, in Oklahoma!

During this service-learning experience, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the Cherokee Nation. They'll engage in activities that support the local community and gain insights into the profound significance of cultural heritage, awareness, and sensitivity. Our goal is to empower participants to become advocates for local tribes and contribute to a more inclusive and respectful society that values and supports the traditions of Native American communities.
