The Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy (IMRP) is seeking to hire a research assistant. The research assistant will assist the IMRP’s Director of Research on three major projects:
- Connecticut Crisis Response Project (911-211-988)
- Connecticut Sentencing Commission Database Project
- Florida Co-responder Projects – (i) Trauma-Informed Training Evaluation; (ii) Community Outreach Team Evaluation
This position will be primarily remote, with the expectation of reporting onsite as needed.
Job Requirements
- Attend virtual research and focus group meetings.
- Take detailed meeting notes.
- Assist with the transcription of audio recorded interviews and focus groups.
- Administer surveys (online and in-person).
- Draft preliminary reports.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Zoom, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Ability to simultaneously track multiple projects, paying attention to detail, and staying organized.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse individuals.
- Meet deadlines and work under pressure in a dynamic office environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
