Being a Black employee in predominantly white workplaces can often be challenging. On top of that, while you are expected to be professional, you want to keep your individuality. To address this tricky topic, the AACC in partnership with the Center for Career Development and the UConn chapter of the NAACP is hosting an open discussion on Tuesday, October 24 from 6:00-7:30pm on ways to be professional while preserving your identity in the workplace. Come chat and enjoy some refreshments while listening to others who have navigated this situation.
