  • Critical Language Scholarship

Are you interested in learning a critical language, like Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Portuguese? Then you may be interested in the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS).

Through the CLS Program, students spend eight to ten weeks abroad studying one of 13 critical languages (https://clscholarship.org/languages) and earn academic credit for their work. The scholarship includes travel expenses, coursework, group excursions, and even a small stipend to cover daily living expenses. Most languages offered by the CLS Program do not require applicants to have any prior experience studying critical languages.

If you are interested, please make an appointment with Michael Cunningham via Nexus. Please note that the application deadline is November 14, so, if you are interested, please contact me or make an appointment soon!
