Join USG and NatureRx in welcoming Dr. Jennifer Roberts, distinguished professor, author, and scholar from the University of Maryland on October 2nd in Schenker Lecture Hall (SCHN 151) at 4pm. Dr. Roberts' lecture title is the following “We are each other's harvest. We are reach other's magnitude and bond: Understanding the racialization of nature". The discussion will center around health equity, sustainability, and discrimination in the outdoors. Following Dr. Roberts discussion, there will be a diverse UConn-membered panel at 5pm and a reception at 6pm. The event is a partnership between UConn NatureRx and the Undergraduate Student Govenrment. All are encouraged to attend!
