Career, Internship & Fellowship

  • 9/21 Looking to Learn About the Internship Process?

Ever felt mystified by the internship application process? After submitting your application, it's often unclear what comes next. How do the subsequent interview stages unfold? What criteria do hiring managers use to select from a pool of applicants? How can you make your application stand out? With countless resources and articles available online, it's easy to encounter conflicting answers to these questions.

To demystify this process, the UConn Data Science Club is thrilled to welcome Jason Lu! Jason is an early-career recruiter from Autodesk, a leading company in CAD software. You might be familiar with some of their flagship products like AutoCAD and Maya. With several years under his belt, Jason has recruited hundreds of interns and recent graduates for renowned companies such as RobinHood, Quora, BitGo, and, of course, Autodesk. His wealth of experience positions him as a valuable source of insights on the internship process.

Join us this Thursday (9/21) from 7-8 pm in MCHU 201, to dive deep into the world of internships with Jason. Bring your questions and seize this opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge from an industry recruiter!
