Are you passionate about children's rights and humanitarian aid?
This semester, UConn's UNICEF Campus Initiative is looking to make a greater impact on campus, and you can be a part of it! UNICEF Campus Initiative is the UConn Chapter of the United Nations Children's Fund which works to protect and promote the rights and welfare of children around the world.
As a club, our primary goal is to raise awareness about UNICEF's mission and raise funds to support these efforts. We organize fundraisers such as Paint Nights, Bake Sales, Empowerment Letter Campaigns, and Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF to raise money and awareness for UNICEF issues. We host advocacy chats, where we learn about and discuss international current events regarding human rights and ethics. We connect students with service opportunities on and off campus related to children’s rights and welfare and through writing letters of love to refugees.
Our club meets biweekly on Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:00pm starting September 27th, with the room TBD!
