Honors Across State Borders (HASB) is a student-run service organization that focuses on combining education, service, and community engagement to work towards long-term change. We will be holding an application process including an interview to select our members for the upcoming year. Although HASB is associated with the Honors program, we welcome ALL students interested in volunteering to apply! Some of our events include an alternative spring break trip, a fall service trip, educational large and small group discussions, and other service opportunities spread throughout the year. Members are able to learn about social issues, environmental justice, and privilege, then go out into the world and create change! If you are interested, we are hosting our last information session, tomorrow Tuesday, September 12th 7-8pm in McHugh 201. You can learn more about our organization at our Instagram @UConnHASB.
