Cope/Big Friends is a mentoring program that services Mansfield Elementary Schools. The program caters to young children interested in making connections and sharing experiences with older college students. We do fun activities to strengthen the mentorship bond and engage in meaningful conversation. The skills they learn will enable them to best deal with the social and emotional challenges that come with the changes in their lives.
We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about working with kids and are available on either Monday from 11:15am-12:55pm, Tuesday 11:50am-1:30pm, or Tuesday 2:15pm-4:45pm. All transportation is provided from UConn directly to the elementary school!
