  • Graduate Students of Color Association E-Board App

    Calling all Graduate Students of Color!

    The Graduate Students of Color Association (GSCA) is actively seeking to fill several vacancies on its E-Board!

     GSCA seeks to support graduate students of different ethnicities and races in their progression through graduate school, as well as the promotion of individual and collective cultural identities by group support.

    As a member of the E-Board, you will play a critical role in the success of the organization, as well as having a greater influence on the impact of the group on both the UConn and greater CT community.

     

    Positions Available:

     

    • Senator: Keep the GSCA E-Board and community up to date on Graduate Student Senate (GSS) activities, decisions, etc. while also working with the Community Outreach Chair to achieve its objectives

     

    • Community Outreach Chair: Serve as the main facilitator for the GSCA in new member engagement, programmatic services that tie the organization to the UConn and wider communities, and all things volunteering

     

    • Public Relations Chair: Act as the creative source for all documentations of GSCA events, communications, etc.

     

    • Social Events Chair: Develop opportunities for social engagement for the GSCA community through the planning of outings and events

     

    • Mental Health Chair: Collaborate with the GSCA president and administration to address the mental health crisis faced by graduate students
