Enrollment is still available for Fall 2023 UNIV-3088 “Pop-up” courses and these courses have a built-in grace period through add/drop. Each of these compressed 1-credit courses runs for seven weeks. These courses are online asynchronous and they do not have required meeting times. They do not require any materials to purchase. Pop-up courses offered during Fall and Spring semesters will be coded “1-credit 1-cost”. This means that for matriculated students already enrolled in 12 credits or more on the 10th day of the semester, a Pop-up course will be zero cost. Students who are enrolled in less than 12 credits on the 10th day and who decide to enroll in one or more Pop-up courses will be billed for the credit costs of the course(s). Students can take up to six (6) UNIV-3088 courses with different topic areas for credit but cannot repeat the same course topic. Consult your advisor prior to dropping if you are using this course to achieve full-time status or for for questions related to your academic plan. Non-degree/non-matriculated and part-time students are now eligible to take UNIV-3088 courses for a cost.
