The Lung Cancer Screening Initiative is a program dedicated to raising awareness about lung cancer and lung cancer screenings. Typical events hosted by the organization include going into cities to talk to people about lung cancer screening, tabling at health fairs and other popular public events like sports games, sharing flyers with local businesses to hang up in their place of business, building white ribbons at college campuses to give out to lung cancer patients at local hospitals, and talking to church congregations.
