Welcome to NRE GSA’s Summer FUNdraiser: A Virtual 5k!
This summer we are excited to raise funds for NRE’s graduate community through a virtual 5K.
To participate in our 5k, sign up through this link:
https://forms.gle/kBvGm1syHhBWYwB48. Everyone who registers is automatically entered into a door prize drawing. Since this is a fundraiser, we are requesting a
minimum donation of $10 so that we can provide events and support to graduate students over the academic year. Then, run/walk/skate/bike your 5K any time and anywhere in July! We will also be
hosting a 5K time during mid-July so we can all run/walk together! Stay tuned for the date and time.
During your run,
join our club on Strava, if you want to be considered for the
fastest time prize (walks or runs for this only please!).
Finally, at the end, upload a picture of yourself to
this link so you can be considered for our
snazziest picture award!
Each prize will earn a gift card to a local business of your choice!
Once we hit 30 entries, we will draw one additional participant to win a gift card!
Everyone can participate! This includes grad students, faculty, staff, community members, friends and family and anyone across the globe. Feel free to share this email with anyone you like and let’s use this opportunity to stay connected over the summer and raise some money for graduate student activities!
