  • Passing of Student, Zaid Langs-Myers

The University has been notified of the unexpected and sad passing of Zaid Langs-Myers. Zaid had just completed his first year at UConn Hartford and was registered for classes at Storrs for the fall semester. Zaid was studying Agriculture and Natural Resources. Prior to attending UConn, Zaid was a student at A.I. Prince Technical High School where he was a member of the track and basketball teams.

As we learn of service information, we will share it with the UConn community. Condolences to Zaid’s family can be sent to the Dean of Students Office, 233 Glenbrook Road, Unit-4062, Storrs, CT, 06269-4062.

There are resources available for any student needing support during this difficult time. Staff members in the Office of Student Services are available from 8:30-4:30, Monday-Friday. Students can also reach out directly to Christine Mosman or Monique Nelson for support.
