Hello!
We’re a feathered ragtag group of small-town heroes, collaborating for access and
awareness at UConn– and beyond! So, we made a community blog called the
Disability and Access Collective: https://disabilityaccesscollective.blog/.
Hop on over there and see what it’s all about!
The DAC blog is a place to feature not only academic but also advocacy-activist and
community work that thinks and expresses uninhibitedly, makes connections, and
explores what it means to be human (or crow!). And it all starts right here on the
UConn campuses. When it comes to the disability experience, storytelling is so
crucial. This blog space seeks to coax out those stories, share them, and learn from
them.
We encourage you to fly on over and read some of our pieces! We will be taking new
submissions next Fall 2023.
We hope you will join the conversation (and our flock!).
