  • Student Activities is Hiring a Photographer

    Seeking an undergraduate student to work as a photographer in the Student Activities Office. Under the direction of the Administrator of Marketing & Graphic Design, the job will include covering events put on by Student Activities and affiliated offices/organizations and taking headshots of staff and other photography duties as assigned. The photos will be edited for specific purposes including web, social media, and print. The candidate will work as needed when events are scheduled across campus. There will be no set weekly hours. 

    • Experience with photography
    • Experience with social media and taking photos well-suited for social media on phone or camera
    • Possess a portfolio of work that shows high quality photography (will need to share when applying)
    • Knowledge of proper lighting and composition in photography
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and arrive to events on time
    • Professional demeanor at events
    • Flexible schedule with ability to work evening/weekend/daytime events
    • Timely response and commitment to photography jobs when requested by supervisor
    • Quick or reasonable turnaround time for edited photos
    • Experience working and editing in Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom
    • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
    • Perform miscellaneous duties as required
    • Be available to photography Husky WOW events August 25-27, 2023. (Early move in will be available if you live on campus.)

    16.40/hour
    2023/2024 academic year
