The Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT) Research Showcase will feature research posters from students, staff, and faculty all across campus that center diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. The showcase will take place Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The poster sessions will take place from 4:00-5:00 with a plenary session from 5:00-6:00 entitled From Burnside to Bedside: Overcoming Racism's Impact on Healthcare featuring Christopher Steele, MD, MPH; Henry Siccardi, MD, MPH; and Reiner Gonzalez, BS. This research day is a part of a series of events centered around the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation initiative and is sponsored by the Office for Diversity and Inclusion and UConn Hartford.
