Backpacks for Life is an organization that provides backpacks filled with daily essential items to help homeless and struggling veterans in the Storrs area, and beyond. On Saturday, 4/29 the Catholic Center is hosting a service event in which we will be making these backpacks to be sent out. All are welcome to join from 9am-12pm when we will be accepting donations, or 12pm-3pm when we will be putting together the backpacks. We are located between the Chemistry building and Towers at 46 N Eagleville Rd., Storrs. Click here for more details, and sign-up youself or a group for a timeslot.
