A fun-filled competition for students affiliated with the African American Cultural Center. Contestants not only compete for a host of gifts and the crown, but also to represent the AACC in the University-Wide Homecoming King and Queen Pageant. Contestants are judged on their talents, Husky Pride and evening wear, and their response to a question concerning issues surrounding African American identity and culture.
- Time: 5:30-8:30
- Location: Von Der Mehden Recital Hall
Prizes: Mr. & Ms. Black UConn receive $1000 each, 1st place runner ups receive $500 each, and 2nd place runner ups receive a $100 gift card for the UConn Bookstore, or for Amazon
