    Neurodiversity in College Panel Discussion

    Date: Thursday, April 20, 2023

    Time: 2:00-3:00 PM

    Location: Zoom - Register Here

Join us for a free virtual panel with neurodiverse students and autistic advocates as we celebrate Autism Acceptance Month. Today, 1 in 4 Americans have a disability, while 1 in 36 are impacted by autism. In this conversation, we will discuss their experiences in the hopes of better educating our community about neurodiversity and autism in college, and to gain insight into how our community can best support neurodiverse learners. Time will be left at the end for Q&A.

This panel is moderated by Dr. Kerry Magro, an award-winning autistic professional speaker, best-selling author, and autism media consultant.

If you require an accommodation to participate in this event, please contact the Center for Students with Disabilities at csd@uconn.edu or 860-486-2020.
