The UConn Pack Leaders at three campuses are conducting a book drive of new and gently used children’s books from infant to young adult. We understand that children and young adults may not have access to books throughout the summer and want to bridge that gap and ensure there are opportunities where they can continue learning outside of school, find joy in reading, and possibly complete summer reading assignments.
Books will be donated to local shelters, daycare and summer programs, as well as other locations.
Collection boxes at Storrs are located at the Dean of Students Office (Wilbur Cross) & The Office of Off Campus & Commuter Student Services (Student Union).
Boxes are also located on the Avery Point and Waterbury campuses.
Books can be dropped off through the end of April.
