Leadership Opportunities

  • CLAS Womens Leadership Collective

Women face unique challenges as they enter the workforce and advance in leadership positions. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is leveraging the power of women through a specialized mentorship program: The Women’s Leadership Collective. The goal of this program is to develop a network of women working to uplift and empower undergraduate students as they leave UConn and enter the workforce. UConn alumnae are uniquely positioned to serve as mentors and will support the goal setting and professional growth of undergraduate students. Applications for the 2023-2024 cohort are open and can be found on the Women’s Leadership Collective website.

Applications will be live until April 14th.

Students must meet the following criteria:

    • Second- or third-year student at the time of their application.
    • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
    • Enrolled as a full-time student in good standing.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth, supporting peers, and empowering women to succeed.

Students must submit an application, resume, and have two references.
