Farm Friday at Spring Valley Student Farm
Please join us at the farm from 4:00-6:00pm every Friday from March 24 through April 28, 2023. Have fun meeting students from all across campus while engaging in a variety of spring farming activities including planting seeds to grow fresh healthy food for our UConn community and preparing the soil for the growing season. This is a great way to earn community service hours. Remember to dress for outdoor conditions including warm water-repellant footwear.
The farm is home to 11 students who grow an amazing variety of vegetables and herbs served at Whitney dining hall and other select locations. Spring Valley Student Farm is collaboration with Dining Services, Residential Life, and EcoHouse Learning Community.
