  • 4/4 Improvised/Interpretive/Modern Dancers Needed

    2-3 improvised/Interpretive/Modern Dancers Needed for a performance with the University of Connecticut Wind Ensemble. A large brass ensemble will be playing Bjork's Overture to Dancer in the Dark in a concert that emphasizes the experiences of those that come from immigrant families. 

    Students will be asked to attend 3 thirty-minute rehearsals (Monday April 5, Wednesday April 10, Wednesday April 12) in von der Mehden Recital Hall prior to the concert. Rehearsals occur from 2:30PM-4:30PM, and the thirty minute block can happen any time during that rehearsal time. You will also be asked to join us at the concert on Thursday April 13 at 8PM for the public performance. These times can be 

    This is also an opportunity to work with theatre staff and the director of the wind ensemble (myself) to creatively collaborate and design lighting for your performance with our group. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
