The USG submcommittee on Active Transportation and Recreation is supporting a UConn alumna who will be running the Boston Marathon and as part of her charity work for the event, is currently collecting used/gently worn sneakers. To support the drive, bring sneakers that you would be willing to donate when you return from Spring break. Collection boxes are in the Student Union, the Whitney residence hall lobby (by the dining hall), and the first floor of Rome (South dining hall) in South campus. Leave your shoes in the box and they will be picked up by the organizers.
