The Student Services Committee is responsible for the advocacy of student quality of life concerns relating to health, dining, recreation, housing, transportation, environment, physical, and emotional safety. Advocacy does not always look the same; committee members may be meeting with administrators to change policy, working with other groups on accessibility issues, and/or hosting an event to connect students around campus. The options and avenues to effectively pursue and inclusively advocate for the student body are countless. There are five subcommittees to become involved in as well: Mental Health & Wellness, Sexual Health & Wellness, Food Insecurity, Transportation & Recreation, and Environmental Justice.
Student Services meets Thursdays from 7PM-8PM in Student Union 320.
Mental Health & Wellness meets Fridays 1PM-2PM in Student Union 316.
Sexual Health & Wellness meets Wednesdays at 4:15PM in the SOC Conference Room in Student Union.
Food Insecurity meets Mondays at 4:30PM in the SOC Conference Room in the Student Union.
Transportation & Recreation meets Wednesdays at 6:15PM-7:15PM in Student Union 317.
