To commemorate the passing of the one year mark since the start of the full scale invasion in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Student Association will be hosting a panel featuring the voices of Ukrainian citizens that were in Ukraine on February 24th of last year. Participants will be joining both in person and online via Zoom from Ukraine. We will be hearing about the experiences of individuals in the early days of the war, and how their lives have changed over the past year. There will be an interactive Q&A session, where members of the audience can ask questions.
The meeting will take place Tuesday, 3/7 at 7pm. Check back on our Instagram @usa_uconn for a location. Please join us for this important and informative event.
This war has been ongoing for more than one year. However, the pain, loss, and grief that we all have felt this past year is just as strong now as it was on the morning of February 24th. While our fight is far from over, one thing remains clear: Ukraine will be victorious!
