  • 3/2 Carbon Reduction Working Group's First Coffee Talk

President Maric's recently-formed Carbon Reduction Working Group will be hosting its first "Coffee Talk" with Facilities Operations and energy experts TODAY, March 2nd 5:00PM-6:00PM in the Co-Generation/Central Utility Plant (CUP) classroom!

We will be discussing UConn's efforts to decarbonize campus's electricity grid, as well as how the Central Utility Plant generates power, heating, and cooling. If time permits, the group may be able to take a tour of the CUP.

This is the first of three Coffee Talks that will take place over the spring 2023 semester. Please sign up and submit questions you'd like to ask during the talk using this Google Form link. Space is limited!

Directions to get there: The entrance to the CUP classroom is on the west corner of the CUP on Auditorium Rd (between the Engineering II and Pharmacy buildings).
