Explore Engineering is a residential STEM summer camp for high schoolers to gain exposure to various engineering careers. Counselors help develop projects and activities. They are compensated for their time and efforts. They can practice networking, mentoring, and presentation skills.
The program will take place during the summer. It will take place at the UCONN Storrs campus. If you are a counselor, you must live on campus for the duration of the program and training. In total, Explore Engineering will last about four weeks for counselors.
Explore Engineering Dates:
Training: Jul 17th - Jul 29th
Program: Jul 30th - Aug 11th
Housing and meals are provided during the training week/days and the program. Counselors will be paid $500 per week for training and $600 per week for the program, so can earn up to $2200.
