HackUConn is a 20-hour marathon event that brings together students of all disciplines in hopes of finding innovative solutions for today’s biggest problems. Students are provided mentoring and workshops from industry professionals and are tasked with bringing their solutions to life. This year, university students have provided their unique art experiences in collaboration with the theme. The event theme is encompassing several different fields through ideas, creativity, innovation and art. A recording studio, a sewing machine, a circuit board. These are all everyday examples of this year's theme. Is a puppet a robot? Is a musical instrument a form of technology? What questions enter your mind when you hear “Arts Meet Technology”? Can you find a new innovative way to combine arts and technology? Where can improvements be made in art and technology accessibility, creativity or presentation?
