  • 2/19 UConn Sport Business Conference This Weekend

    Interested in working in the sports industry and want to learn from business professionals?

    Join us for this year's Sport Business Conference on Sunday February 19th from 9am-4pm in McHugh Hall! The UConn Sports Business Association is excited to announce that we will be celebrating 50 years of Title IX with a panel featuring former UConn Women’s Basketball player Morgan Tuck and ESPN journalist Tisha Thompson as well as a panel discussing the evolution of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). Breakfast and lunch will also be provided.

    This is a fantastic networking opportunity for UConn students that will be featuring speakers and mentors from the Boston Celtics, ESPN, Minor League Baseball, New York Jets, Connecticut Sun, UConn Athletics, New York Mets and more! Below is more information on the event.

    The UConn Sport Business Conference provides a unique opportunity to engage with professionals from a variety of career paths and areas of expertise from within the sport industry. The conference is a business formal, full-day event which includes keynote speakers and panels, break-out workshop sessions, designated networking time, and opportunities to seek internships and jobs. The UConn Sport Business Conference strives to help all attendees gain real-world knowledge and applicable skills that will provide a foundation to build upon throughout their professional careers. Each year we are thrilled to welcome new students and professionals to our event, as well as returning attendees and mentors.
