For the upcoming 2023 MLK Living Legacy Convocation, the Office for Diversity and Inclusion will honor four members of the UConn community who have made significant contributions to advancing racial justice at UConn and beyond. These honorees include:

• Michael Bradford – Vice Provost for Faculty, Staff, and Student Development

• David Henderson, M.D. – Department Chair, Family Medicine

• Mason Holland – President, Undergraduate Student Government

• Dominique Courts – PhD candidate in Social Work who passed away on October 11, 2022 

Beginning in 2024, ODI will utilize a formal nomination process for recognizing select members of the UConn community with the Martin Luther King Jr. Living Legacy award.
