The UConn Engagement Center is recruiting remote Engagement Ambassadors for an exciting virtual position! Engagement Ambassadors reach out to alumni, parents, and friends of UConn to connect and raise funds for the UConn Foundation. The UConn Foundation supports numerous missions of the University of Connecticut, including providing support for many of the campus operations students know and love. As an Engagement Ambassador, you will be a driving force in promoting and funding the educational, research, and outreach objectives of the UConn Foundation.
We offer flexible scheduling while working from the comfort of your home using your own devices. It is not required that you be on campus, or even in the state of Connecticut, to apply for this position. Prior sales experience is preferred, but not required. Must be comfortable with asking for money over the phone and overcoming objections confidently. Engagement Ambassadors earn $15.00 per hour plus opportunities for bonuses and tuition assistance.
Requirements:
- You must work a minimum of 9 hours per week. We offer a flexible schedule (discussed further within the interview process). Shift times are: Sunday’s 12:00PM-6:00PM, Monday-Thursday 6:00PM-9:00PM, and Friday’s 1:00PM – 4:00PM. You can work more than 9 hours per week if desired.
- You must have a quiet workspace within the United States, free of distractions.
- You must provide your own equipment (including but not limited to: dependable internet, a laptop or desktop computer, headphones with a microphone or headset, webcam, and Ethernet cord).
