We’ve all heard about the Woodstock Music Festival (3 days of peace and music) that took place in 1969, but now you have the opportunity to experience the songs first-hand.  Join Earthtones Vocal Ensemble (MUSI 1006, 1 cr) for the Spring 2023 semester as we explore the music, history, and culture of the late 1960s centered around Woodstock.  The program, WOODSTOCK@53?! includes a variety of popular songs sung by Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Sly and the Family Stone, Janis Joplin, and other prominent performers. The ensemble meets on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:30 in MUSB108 with our concert (with full band) on Saturday, April 22, 2022. No auditions-all welcome. Don’t miss this opportunity for what is sure to be a unique artistic and cultural experience.
