On November 10th, all UConn faculty, staff, and students will be required to use Duo two-factor authentication to log in to NetID Single Sign On, Microsoft 365, and classroom computers.
ITS recommends that you enroll and opt in to 2FA before Nov. 10th on the Authentication Portal. First add a device (we recommend a mobile phone) and then click “Opt in to 2FA.”
Once you opt in, you will receive authentication prompts from Duo after you sign in to an online UConn service. After you authenticate with Duo, the next screen will ask if you want to "trust" the browser. Choose this option, and you will not receive another Duo prompt for approximately 30 days on that browser and device. Note: Every time you use LockDown Browser, you must authenticate with Duo.
