UConn is excited to announce the Husky Book Bundle, a new course material delivery program that provides access to your required course materials in a convenient package before the first day of class. With this new program, all required course materials ordered by your instructor are included on your fee bill for a flat fee of $285. This is a savings of 35-50% over buying the materials individually.
This program will begin with the Spring 2023 term.
Students have the ability to OPT-OUT of the program anytime up until the close of Add-Drop, ten days into the semester. We encourage students to remain in the Husky Book Bundle until they have seen a syllabus from all of their classes to be certain that they know what text and course materials are needed for their entire courseload. The fee of $285 is not due to be paid until after the Add/Drop Period closes, so remaining in the program as long as possible will allow students to make sure they are getting the best deal possible on their materials.
How It Works:
- One month before classes start, you will receive an email instructing you to review your courses and choose how to receive your materials
- The bookstore will prepare your course materials in a convenient package
- You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup at the bookstore or when it ships, depending on your selection
- Your digital materials will be delivered within HuskyCT
- When your courses are over, the bookstore will send you helpful reminder emails to return your rental course materials
