Ascend UConn and Delta Phi Lambda sorority are collaborating on Tuesday, November 8th from 5-6pm in BUSN 112 for a discussion on navigating Asian/AAPI discrimination.
This discussion will go over a brief overview of the history of AAPI discrimination in America and how it connects to the present. Our conversation is aimed at educating fellow students about the Asian American experience, preparing AAPI-identifying students for careers, and fostering community amongst students of color at UConn!
FREE snacks will be provided and there'll be a chance to win a Dunkin Gift Card at the end! This event also counts as an Honors Event (#UHLevent10237).
